Long time reader, Lorraine Gonda, clearly loves gemstone and originally suggested UniversalJewelry (now known as MaryamGemsCo) for my subsequent feature.
She tells me me the owner, Mohamed Sufiyan (Sufi) has opened yet another store, JohariGemJewels with an even great inventory (over 2500!) of well priced gemstones, wholesale lots, calibrated gemstones and my favourite of all – paired cabochons – for earrings! Shown above is a well named natural Arizona Sleeping Beauty turquoise cabochon.
All the gemstones are shipped from Jaipur, India. Jaipur is a major gemstone and jewelry processing centre – many lapidarists and gemstone carvers are there.
