I am very excited to share the details of an upcoming Beadaholique Live class on Thursday, March 13th, at 9am PT/12pm ET. This class will show how to make a leather cord and button bracelet using the Wrapit Loom by Rainbow Loom. Over the years, these have been some of our most popular bracelet designs. Awhile back, the loom was discontinued, and we were all sad to have lost this popular tool that made making these bracelets so fun and easy. Fast forward and a newly designed Wrapit Beading Loom Loom is now available! I had the pleasure of playing with this loom and figuring out how to make this popular style of bracelet again.
In this class, I will go over the loom itself, teach how to set it up, and I will teach how to make a leather cord and button bracelet on the loom from start to finish! By the end of the class you will know how to not only use the loom but how to make these bracelets. Below are a couple photos of past bracelets in this style (please note that these are older projects so some supplies might no longer be available).
There are so many variations you can do with this style of bracelet. The choices of beads are endless! To keep things simple, here are my suggestions for a starter bracelet. In these categories, simply pick your favorite colors. You will need:
1 Tube of 8/0 Toho Round Seed Beads
1 Strand of 4mm Czech Glass Fire Polished Beads
Pair of Scissors
For the class itself, here are exact supplies that I will be using:
For the class, I will also be showing a color variation using some other supplies too, so tune in to see how those beads look worked up as well! Please come with your questions and ideas. We will have fun together during this live class!
